Powder Coating Services has both in-house facilities and sub-contractors to efficiently strip hard-to-remove powder coatings from intricate parts and shapes. Products are sorted according to suitability for processes that may involve immersion tank dipping at room temperature or high temperature oven baking to burn material off. Often older materials are in poor substrate condition where sandblasting may not be suitableso acid immersion surface processes are then used to remove and neutralize corrosion as required . Waste solids and expired chemicals are removed and treated by approved sub-contractors with regards to local council by-laws and the environment. ![]() Compatibility Chemicals and processes are compatible * with most known metals, they will safely remove powder coatings from galvanized steel, aluminum, zinc, copper, brass, mild steel and stainless steel substrates. Note * (magnesium metals may react to paint removal strippers) Avoid powder coating - example are found with very expensive lightweight motorsport wheels and expensive light weight racing bicycles – not recommended to be put through the powder coating and stripping process.
