Dave joined Powder Coating Services in 1995, coming from a family background in the building and construction industry and bringing many years of experience from prior roles in manufacturing and administration. Dave’s involvement with manufacturing plants ranged in size from multi-national to SME, and he brought considerable knowledge at a time when PCS was entering a major growth stage.
Dave’s expertise in quality control has been a particular advantage to the business, and he’s been instrumental in developing the high-quality pre-treatment processes for which Powder Coating Services has gained a reputation. Dave describes his management style as hands-on, always in touch with what’s happening but equally able to focus on developmental projects such as new testing regimes when required.
At home, Dave likes nothing more than to spend time with his grandchildren. And when he gets some time to spare loves his sport, especially motorsport, sailing and football. An avid Manchester United and Phoenix supporter, these interests today take second place to involvement with NZ sports car racing, and racing his own rebuilt genuine Classic Lotus 7.

Shane’s main responsibility is to keep the plant’s day-to-day operations running smoothly, ensuring jobs are processed on time to the company’s high quality standards. Shane enjoys being the first point of contact with customers, and is always ready with a clear answer to enquiries on pricing, timeframes, colour selection and pre-treatment requirements.
Outside of work Shane is an avid fisherman. He also enjoys scuba diving, and when time allows, touring the country on his motorbike.
